To achieve the boldest results, you’ll need to lighten your hair to a level 9 or 10 (blonde) before applying your Bordeaux hair dye. You can use our High Lift Bleach Kit to get your hair looking lighter, brighter, and ready for hair dye application.
Bordeaux is also suitable for level 8 (medium blonde) hair; however, when you apply our Crazy Color dyes to hair that hasn’t been pre-lightened, keep in mind that the results will be tonal instead of bold and bright.
